Rebecca Rubuliak

Director of Continuous Improvement and Innovation

Rebecca is driven by a curiosity about how we cultivate communities where everyone is valued and belongs, and learning how to be a better ally. Rebecca was drawn to Skills Society for their deep commitment to disability rights, and the values and creativity they bring to their work. Prior to joining Skills, through her graduate research at the University of Alberta, Rebecca had the opportunity to explore alongside children experiencing disability how we might better support inclusion and deeper belonging from their perspectives. She brings knowledge of disability studies, participatory research approaches, a commitment to learning, and lived experience supporting children and youth experiencing disability.

Rebecca strives to be curious, empathetic, and centre relationships and people in her approach. In her role as Senior Leader of Continuous Improvement and Innovation she co-stewards, alongside others, innovative projects and organizational development and learning practices to affect change towards supporting people to live inclusive lives in community.

Rebecca loves exploring the city on her bike or with her pup Murph, and is happiest when spending time with people.
