Paige Reeves

Director of Research and Social Innovation

Paige is a sensitive soul with a thirst for learning. From the time she was a small child she has been deeply curious about inclusion and belonging. Why are some people excluded in our communities and how might we help people find belonging? Paige has the unique opportunity to explore this curiosity in nuanced and theoretical ways in her role as PhD Candidate at the University of Alberta and in applied and practical ways in her role as Senior Leader at Skills Society. With an eye towards broader systems change within the disability service sector, Paige helps steward Action Lab and leads research, social innovation labs, learning, strategies, policies, and service improvement prototypes that support the inclusion of people with disabilities in community life. In her work she strives to weave together her lived experiences as a sibling, friend, paid support, and ally with her knowledge of social innovation, systemic design, disability studies, and participatory research approaches all with the hope of building, sharing, and growing ideas that make people’s lives better.
