Deepa has always been deeply passionate about helping the less privileged members of society. Driven by this vision of a life of service and a genuine desire of making a meaningful impact, she pursued formal education earning multiple bachelor’s degrees and a master's in social work, laying a solid foundation for a life-long career of service.

Upon graduating, Deepa began her professional journey as an assistant lecturer in post-graduate studies. Her career spans multiple roles in both governmental and non-governmental sectors, addressing a diverse array of social issues. Deepa has been instrumental in projects focusing on children, women in urban slums, youth, anti-human trafficking, business training, and network building. Her work has taken her across the globe, starting in her home country of India, then moving to the United Kingdom, and now in Canada. In each of these locations, Deepa has ascended to different levels of leadership, reflecting her capability and dedication. Deepa has been a steadfast advocate in public services since 2010, focusing specifically on the disability services since 2014. 

Deepa's professional ethos is rooted in her strong principles of integrity, high standards of professionalism and a result-oriented approach. Her dedication to helping others is only  matched by her firm belief that great achievements are collective success, valuing equity and true inclusion through collaboration. Her servant leadership style is a unique blend of empathy, passion for service, and a teacher's instinct, fostering the development of her team while maintaining a straightforward approach to professionalism and workplace conduct.
