Lisa has worked in the disability sector since 2008 and has been working at Skills since 2016, starting off in frontline and now management.

Lisa started out in the field working with persons who had been directly effected by their lives at Michener and quickly formed a passion for the sector. Lisa believes we have come a long way but we can still do better and Skills vision, mission and philosophy fits this perfectly.

Lisa strives to have a leadership style that focuses on team and collaboration, as this leads to innovation and creative problem solving. Every employee is an integral part of the team and has their own unique skill set and values that they bring. 

We know we are doing good work when the people we serve are leading happy, fulfilling and inclusive lives, on their terms.
