We Need You To Share Your Voice About the Impact of PDD Safety Standard Regulations

Post by Skills Society Executive Director Pat Conrad

Hello Everyone,

Your Voice Matters

I have been communicating information about the PDD Safety Standard Regulations and their negative impact to the lives of people with disabilities should the PDD Safety Standard Regulations remain as they are.

We all have a great opportunity to participate in the PDD Safety Standard Regulations Consultation process through attending the forum set in Edmonton on Monday February 29th .

Edmonton

February 29, 2016

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Maple Leaf Room, 1-0457 Lister Centre, University of Alberta

11613-87 Avenue

Completing the survey on line before March 14th, 2016

Click This Link to Fill out the Questionnaire

When you go on line to complete the survey, you will notice question: 10. Is there anything else you would like to tell us?

We have an opportunity to respond to this question in relation to the Safety Standard Regulations and MUCH MORE – WE CAN BRING FORWARD OTHER CONCERNS ABOUT WHAT IS NOT WORKING AND WHAT WOULD WORK BETTER in the PDD/Disability Services Program.

I encourage everyone to get involved:

·      People who are supported by Skills Society, their families and guardians

·      Employees

·      Landlords

·      and other Stakeholders
